Can anybody repair tape decks , I have a kenwood tape deck that stops the minute you play a tape can any 1 help please

Sounds like it needs stripping due to a belt either snapped or slipped off if the tape deck is vintage the rubber belt might have perished and snapped

I'd say the tape deck is about 30 years old but never been used due to this problem
