Qualified teacher offering tutoring

Hi,


I'm a qualified teacher with 6 years experience teaching in good primary schools. I have also been privately tutoring for 11 years. I have a Master's degree from UCL in a classics related discipline.


I am experienced in tutoring in a variety of subjects including:

-Latin to A level

-Ancient Greek to GCSE

-Classical Civilisation to A level

-English to A level

-All primary school subjects to end of year 6

-11+ and 13+ exams


I have availability on Thursday evenings and Saturday Mornings-early afternoon.

    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.    
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
