Delilah158
I’m in need of a carpenter to hang an internal door. There used to be a door, but hasn’t been for many years. The door frame seems to be a little bit out of standard sizing however, and is bigger than the door. I did measure (as best as I could but I’m by no means a professional!) the height is 1990-1995mm (different measurements left and right) and the width is 700-710mm (top being highest) but they could be slightly off! The door is 1981 and 682mm, and has glass panels in it. Less bothered about there being a gap height wise but I’m guessing a 24mm wide gap will be a bit of an issue. We would prefer not to have the whole frame, Pulled out and replaced however and are happy to have strips of wood fitted to fill out the gap, if that would work. Open to suggestions however! Please get in touch if this is something you could help with!
