Dresser, Shop Display Cabinet Hardwood £120 ONO

Recommended Posts

Hardwood Glass Cabinet Dresser Shop Display, possibly Australian (G. James are a glass and furniture company in Australia and their logo in on both glass doors). It is not very old, possibly from the 70's and would work as a great shop piece of furniture, with a lot of drawers. The ones on the left are 34cm wide and the ones behind the glass doors are 62cm wide.

The cabinet is made of very heavy hard wood and is very heavy as a whole. I started sanding the dark wood and it's a nice pale colour under the dark varnish but I never finished the job...

We have used it as a linen cabinet for years but now it's time to move on.

Pick up/collection only from London SE23 (Forest Hill, South East London).

    • We recently had our wooden floors sanded, filled, and varnished by Nikolay, and we’re really pleased with the results. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain our options and the finish we wanted. Nikolay was a pleasure to have around—knowledgeable, respectful of our home, tidy, and on schedule. He communicated well throughout, and the final result looks fantastic. We’d highly recommend him to anyone needing floor sanding.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. He replaced an electric shower for us, at the reasonable price agreed, with minimum fuss and no mess
    • It is hard to believe this was not considered well in advance, either by the council or by GALA. Cllr Catherine Rose is adamant she wants to monetise parks, so this is a way to justify changing the event footprint  and creates precedent for yet more changes and park event creep.
    • Those fences are around the newly created bunds. I'm assuming to protect the new planting? I know Gala said on Wednesday meeting they had to put their fences around the bunds to ensure they were not damaged,  apparently wild flowers have been planted there. The flood alleviation works was to protect houses from flooding not the park,  that area of the park always floods as lowest part with river Peck underneath.  It will be interesting to see how Gala manage if we have heavy rain in May!
