Hello, I am a professional singer and East Dulwich resident and who loves to teach. Learning the nuts and bolts of good singing technique and song interpretation can be both enjoyable and help you build confidence as a singer. One to one lessons in my studio go at the pace of each student and follow a step by step study of the fundamentals of singing well - breathing, posture, developing vocal control and exploring song interpretation. For advanced singers lessons can be tailored to specific areas of voice work. Or perhaps you'd like to learn to read music and sight sing? Sight singing students follow an established curriculum which is suitable for all ages. Past singing students range from amateur singers from age 10 to 70, working actors at the Unicorn Theatre and National Theatre, Brit School applicants and professional singers.   Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
