A 20 year old musical mystery was solved for me today whilst sipping a Latte in Mon Petite chou. It was the name of a track that I remember hearing when I was 13 and Acid house was in full swing, we used to get tapes(remember those) sent down from London of various pirate radio stations(Centreforce in particular), one track stuck in my head and it turned out to be 'White Horse' by a duo called Laid Back. Its like the sluice gates of my mind just burst open today, the track itself is still fairly startling and dare I say way ahead of its time but there was a time that I despaired of ever clearing up this musical mystery...so, anyway is there anyone out there who has a similar memory block with a nostalgic tune that I/We could help with? Its damned cathartic I tell you. I feel that I've cleared a little more room upstairs for Footie trivia or somesuch drivel. You hum it and we'll try and sing it! Bliss.
