SOLD £125 Beautiful Antique King Size Metal Bed Frame - with some quirks!

Selling my lovely king size antique bed frame, with a rather heavy heart! Only selling because I now bedshare with my little girl on a floor bed and I can’t see that ending anytime soon, and then if we have another… well, it could be years! And we don’t have the space to keep the frame until then.

This is an antique frame with some quirks. It’s the old fashioned type with poles that slot into the head and foot on either side and then hold a box frame on top for the mattress. When it’s assembled the foot does rest at a slight forward slant, this doesn’t affect the bed at all, it’s still very sturdy and doesn’t move or creak.

The second quirk is that part of the slot for the side pole on the right of the headboard snapped off, and this point is now held up with a clamp. This was our DIY solution and it works great! The clamp is included with the bed! Also that side of the bed was in the corner of our room so the clamp wasn’t visible.

The frame is quite heavy, the box part of it is very heavy and you’ll need two people to move it. As it’s a king size you’ll most likely need a van.
