Home tutor needed - yr5 se24

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, just re-posting this as I'm still on the hunt recommendations:

Does anyone have any recommendations for home tutors? I'm looking for someone to do Maths and English on a weekly basis with my daughter in year 5 who has been behind age related expectations for around four years. The school have been no help.

It would be great to find someone kind and bubbly to support my daughter and give some insight into what might be causing her difficulties.

We live between Tulse Hill and Herne Hill.

Thanks in advance!

Rachael

Hopefully you've found someone but I would highly recommend Sarah Jones whom we found through Dulwich Tutors. https://dulwichtutors.com/

She has a really calm way of working and does a great job teaching concepts through games and other fun activities so it doesn't feel like learning or homework. Feel free to DM me with any questions.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
