Doggie day care recommendations please?

Hi there,

We have a 4 month old puppy- a beddy whippet- and are looking to get some day care arranged for her when we are working. Dixie is very friendly and affectionate and loves playing with other dogs.

Probably looking for around 3-4 days / half days a week.

We live in East Dulwich.

Please let me know if you have any recommendations/ or can offer this service.

Many thanks!

    • Well we can wait or we can cut to the chase  Corbyn will fail again, attract a lot of “purists” (but people happy to overlook his failings) , attract enough votes to prevent another Labour govt and allow farage/Badenoch in well done Jeremy!    now - if you have fault with Labour and starmer then I can agree with you. Extremely sub par. But in the real world, the least bad option.  I’m not going to cut off my nose to spite my face  if we didn’t have FPTP as a voting system then fair enough. But we do (partly because Jez voted against getting rid of it because regardless of what he says now) starmer is not very good   But anyone who says he is the same as/as bad as the tories is not a serious person
    • Yes keep it open late,  a nice parklet and seating for those who need a few tinnies late at night or first thing in the morning and then a nice quiet lie down un-disturbed from annoying traffic.
    • Noise team are excellent, they encouraged my neighbours to not have dogs (basically left in the small garden for days in the Winter). I think that RSPCA requests the council first and then they call the RSPCA if they think it’s an issue for them. Neighbours were not cruel, just not capable and too busy with 4 children and sick relatives to give appropriate care.
    • Southwark website says they can investigate barking dogs.  If the noise is happening ‘now’ they say to call them on 020 7525 5777. I suggest you share the address with those locally affected, and then all call the number when you hear the dog barking. If there are enough complaints, the rapid noise team will attend (they can only really properly assess if the threshold is met if: they attend, hear recordings of the sound, or receive a high number of complaints).    you can also report online each time.    the rapid noise team can attend, and also warn the occupant as it is a ‘nuisance ‘ (barking for an hour each time on repeated occasions). you can also record the sound and send the links to the noise team, and also the neighbour (if you have their contact details).   Allowing prolonged barking is a nuisance, and saying that it is ‘caused by anxiety’, doesn’t mean that it is not also causing a noise nuisance. Hopefully this will stop the dog being left on its own for so long.
