Local Legal advice please

Citizen's Advice - unless you have a lawyer friend, don't otherwise expect pro-bono work - there are many who may proffer advice (I've done it in the past) but it will be a layperson's views. If you want actual legal advice, then you need a lawyer (or, as I said, Citizen's Advice).

Landlord/tenant

There' lots of forums out there that cover this subject.

If you have the time, research the forums and other people's experiences . Sift out the obvious garbage and develop a strategy.

The internet is your friend.

www.austenjonessolicitors.co.uk

very reasonable in fact half the price of our previous local one as they are seld employed so no fancy offices to run...have office in upland rd with admin andsecurity storage, specialists in all sorts- we used for Wills and LPOA, but also have solicitors specialising in conveyancing etc. Will home visit or work by phone (maybe Zoom now). 5 years ago they offered a free 15 min consult. Prices up front for standard jobs- none of this adding more dosh to bill each time a letter is written.

Do look at their website.
