Emma Norton
We have been hosting a lovely Ukrainian mother and her 9 year old son in East Dulwich since April. They are completely delightful and have been wonderful house guests. They help us with cleaning, gardening and cooking. She has a job (in fact 3 jobs!) and her son is in a local primary school. We are finding it very hard to find a landlord that will rent to them - they will need to apply for housing benefit (UC) and we can help with a deposit (and will continue to support them as needed). All they need is somewhere small - studio/1bed/2bed - they will be really good tenants. They would also consider renting rooms in a shared house. If you would like to support the refugees and have a suitable property, please consider contacting us! Please contact me on [email protected]. Thank you!
