Hi ED community,

I am a local resident with a small independent children's clothing business called Lamb London.

I sell vintage/ preloved items as well as curating a line of fun knitwear for kids, designed for little ones that want to stand out from the crowd and for parents conscious of sustainability and shopping small.

  Who is signing the petition? If they are real people, entitled to vote in the UK, guess what? Mainly Tory and Reform voters. Not really a surprise. And the opposition have not done themselves any favours with the new leader and others signing it. Move on, and come back in four years when we have the next GE.

  How would you have phrased the letter then? And what are these services they provide that "people pay for in droves that commercially justify keeping it open"? If keeping it open was commercially justified, then presumably they wouldn't be considering closing it. Have I misunderstood you?
