It;s a petition to the World's governments that already has 700,000 signatures

This is the aim:-

To world governments:

We call on you to help stop the brutal crackdown against women, children and peaceful protesters in Iran. Help free those unlawfully detained, stop the death sentences, and set up an independent UN mechanism to investigate and end impunity for grave crimes in Iran. Global pressure works and must include targeted sanctions on Iranian officials and institutions responsible for the violence and human rights violations.

Then why not have a thread on Iran. I wont be signing the petition as it is unlikely to make a difference. I'd start with lobbying my MP, getting involved with relevant organisations such as amnesty and those more specific to Iran https://www.amnesty.org/en/petition/end-the-protest-bloodshed-in-iran/

    • It wasn't a rumour, the salon had closed when I posted here. Regarding the Post Office, as I said go and ask them.
    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
