Hazle+Alex, please, please, pleeeeeease choose Matty's suggestion above. It's brilliant. I love Dill for a restaurant name here esp as its a nod to the origins of how Dulwich was named.


(ahem...and there's an LL in it and you happen to be on LL which is a common abbreviation for it on here) :))

Dilwihs, Dylways, Dullag, and may come from two old English words, Dill, a white flower, and wihs, meaning a damp meadow, giving a meaning of "the meadow where dill grows".


It's relevant, snappy and historical all in one. Excellent suggestion by Matty. My vote goes to that too.
