Looking for a Long-Term Rental - 1 Bed

Hey all,

Thoughts I should pop on here as I recently viewed a flat in the area and the lovely landlord actually recommended this forum!

We (my partner Ed and I) are looking for a 1 bed flat in the area and have a budget of around £1700 per month. We are only moving as our current rental has just been sold. In full transparency we are looking to move fast as we have to leave our place within the next few weeks so the clock is ticking.

Ideally we would find a place with a bit of outside space as we will also be moving with our (very quiet) dog. She is a rescue and so spends a majority of her time sleeping!

If you or anyone you know might have something please reach out,

Kind Regards,

Tom

Hi there

I own a 1 bed ground floor Victorian garden flat in Lacon Road. My husband and I have been landlords for the past 20 years. Our tenants have given notice today but aren't moving out until February 3rd. I realise that this isn't soon and probably not suitable as you are looking for something quickly. I don't have any photos yet but we are looking around the £1,500 pcm. There is a double bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a smaller back room that is currently used as an office.

Global issues all play their own parts (as they do with other countries) but the UK govt had  been especially abject for years. Improvements could not be made with them in power. That's not to say everything is all roses when they go To claim parties shouldn't try and sell themselves in an election is absurd - but if labour did overpromise or dig into specifics (which they partly couldn't because they didn't have their hands on the books) then we live in a country where a population and media is happy to punch on them and relect the shabby last govt I mean if any argument I made was supported by some posters I would rethink it but thats just me
