Hi all -

Late notice indeed...

I have 2x PDF tickets to Wimbledon Park fireworks TONIGHT 4th November, my partner is unable to go anymore and all my friends are busy. I'm actually a bit gutted! Doors open 19:15 (so, they're already open!) and the display starts at 20:30, you can check Merton's website for details if you like.

It seems there are scammers around re the Dulwich fireworks. I'm not a scammer (though I'm sure they all say that) - I'm happy to email you the tickets, you go and enjoy the show successfully, and then paypal me the money afterwards? That way I'm putting my faith in you as an honest good citizen, rather than you having to put it in me. They were £21.40.

  Yes, slim (width) washing machines in U.K. just don’t seem to exist, unless top-loaders. Possibly something to do with optimum drum size I suspect.

  The issue with mail delivery is getting ridulous. Once again, I've had a late dump of post, some of it over 3 weeks late. Like others, yet another parking fine which has escalated because it wasn't received on time. I'll now have to pay £170; and a Vehicle Tax reminder, the date of which has already past. None of us will get anywhere appealing these things with the issuing authorities by simply saying that the post was late. We ever can't prove that letters weren't delivered. I've emailed my MP yet again but I'm at the point of going to the Peckham sorting office with my protest placard!! Anyone else?
