The Rye for food?

Anyone eaten at The Rye on Peckham Rye since last refurb? Any good?

Going out for first night out in a while and looking for really nice pub food...

If not The Rye, any recommendations?

Sorry probably a bit late - I have eaten there a couple of times recently. They have a nice menu - food for the most part lives up to its billing. I reckon worth a try but not spectacular. Try the Crooked Well - can be pricey compared to normal pub grub but the food is usually very good, there is a good atmosphere and the people that run it are nice - you will probably have to book though.
