Cactus silk rug is hand-woven in Morocco on traditional weaving looms. Threads are dyed using all-natural dyes like saffron, indigo, henna, cutch, chamomile. Sun-bleached and air-dried to achieve its vintage look. Variations in color and ancient motifs, minor flaws and imperfections are characteristic of these materials.

Rug bought for ?150 and cushion for ?50. New and never used. From a smoke free home!

Dusty Pink Moroccan Silk Rug 150X100cm & Cushion Cover 50x50cm

vintage cactus silk rug is hand-woven in Morocco on traditional weaving looms by hand so each rug is different. Threads are dyed using all-natural dyes like saffron, indigo, henna, cutch, chamomile. Dying the threads is a very long process, but when it is completed the colors are bright and beautiful. Sun-bleached and air-dried to achieve its vintage look. Variations in color and ancient motifs, minor flaws and imperfections are characteristic of these materials.
