How can I get my flymo blades sharpened?

It's ancient but fine, I was given it 15 years ago and it wasn't new then. It's done the job fine, but the blades do need sharpening. The nearest service agent is in Chislehurst and that'd probably cost as much as a new mower.

Is there anyone more local than that who can do this?

Buy a File and sharpen it yourself only need a spanner to undo the locknut.

I do mine.

You can take the blade to almost any hardwear shop they will do it for you.

Wear thick gloves.

take it to a boot menders they will do it on there machines comes up like new cost ?2
