Free if you want them: Roberts radio R9921 - with case - compact, silver Sony Cassette-corder TCM-400DV - essentially a dictaphone I have not tried to use them but I have no reason to think they don't work.   Yes, slim (width) washing machines in U.K. just don’t seem to exist, unless top-loaders. Possibly something to do with optimum drum size I suspect.
