Hello neighbours,

My name is Raheem Rushton, I am an English teacher at a local school in Dulwich.

I am here offering my services as a tutor, for any age up to 16 (KS4, GCSE).

I also (if you want to give your children a break from the vigorous curriculum), offer a creative course to develop engagement with the subject.

Please don’t hesitate to get in contact to ask any questions.

Thank you :)

Hi Raheem,

Do you have experience of working with students who are struggling? Our daughter's target grade is 4 for Eng language & literature but she struggles with exams (and learning) and so got grade 2 for her mocks. We feel she might benefit from some 1 to 1 tutoring ahead of GCSEs this summer.

Best wishes,

Emma

Good evening Emma,

Thank you for your message. I have lots of experience working with under attaining students and believe your daughter has every chance to improve with some extras support.

My suggestion would be that we do a session, see if she responds to my teaching style and that we have good chemistry working together, and we take it from there.

My number if you would like to speak on the phone - 07516551577.

Kindest regards

Raheem

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
