suzplum
Just saw a bunch of teenagers throwing fireworks at each other just opposite the play park! Frightened the life out of me as I first thought it was gun fire. No regards for families close by and really scared my daughter This has been reported to the police but wasn’t sure if anyone else had seen this Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/315842-teenagers-throwing-fireworks-in-east-dulwich-rd/ Share on other sites

From 15 October to 10 November is the legal period at this time of year to sell fireworks (Diwali, New Year and Chinese New Year are other legal periods for sales) 2. Fireworks can not be sold to under 18s Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/315842-teenagers-throwing-fireworks-in-east-dulwich-rd/#findComment-1597078 Share on other sites

It appears to be the same teenagers who are riding Boris and Lime bikes and wearing balaclavas/face masks. Not sure they use bangers these days...Kids at school, in my time (I'm really old now!), had upped the level to proper screamers that were set off down the corridors *shrugs Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/315842-teenagers-throwing-fireworks-in-east-dulwich-rd/#findComment-1597266 Share on other sites
imasnookercue
I used to do this when i was a teenager all the time, and in fact would still do it now, if i didn't have a big garden to let them off in instead. Ill be having a huge display again this year, on Lacon Road if anyone wants to keep an eye and ear out.
