Click & Collect from Argos in Sainsbury’s

I had a parcel to click and collect at Argos, Sainsburys, 80 Denmark Hill..

It somehow was delivered to no. 76 and was apparently signed for. So I went to 76 in hope they might have it and it was a boarded up flat.

Has anyone else experienced the same?

Sainsburys is Dog Kennel Hill not Denmark Hill. Is that just a typo? 76 Denmark Hill is a Subway in Camberwell.

Nowadays most parcels aren't signed for (since Covid distance rules) but photographed on the door step as a record is to be kept of delivery. There are, I'm afraid. a number of rogue couriers who fake signatures either to steal, or just not to bother delivering, items. And a (larger) number of excellent, honest and diligent couriers as well, I'm glad to say.

I don't understand. Sorry to be dim, but was this an item ordered from Argos online, to be collected at the Argos in the DKH Sainsbury's?

If so, and it has somehow gone astray before getting to Argos, surely it is up to Argos to either find it or replace it?
