Mata Akasha Yoga Mini Retreat: Saturday 1st October 2 - 4pm at PUSH Studios (behind William Rose Butchers) £24.

Gift yourself space to unwind, reset, rest and restore in a yoga and mindfulness workshop specially designed for all those feeling the transitions and many changes that this time of year can bring us. Join Tess Gunning (www.lifecalma.co.uk), yoga and mindfulness teacher, therapist and NHS Clinical Specialist in Parental and Family mental health. The workshop will begin and end with guided waking sleep rest (meditation and yoga nidra) with a series of restorative and yin yoga postures designed to support both physical and mental health, replenish low energy reserves and nurture and nourish deep within. Mata Akasha is Sanskrit and translates as Mother Space in English. Space to let go, relax and take a breath from caring responsibilities and the demands of our busy and sometimes overwhelming lives. Book online at www.pushstudios.co.uk/bookings-online (using the workshop tab) and please contact Tess via the lifecalma website if you need any further information.

    • Hi,  Anyone selling any cushions or giving away for free? 2 or 4 please. Ideally any tone  of blue and not feather infill - yellow or grey also good. Thank you and have a good day
    • Try Mind and St Christopher’s - they generally accept such items, if bagged. There is a large bin at the car park of The Plough but it’s often full (despite my calls to the number provided) and some (on here) have said the organisation has links to certain charities/groups that one may find troubling. (Please do your own research. I cast no aspersions.)
