Hello all

I have a lovely Rubaix that I have had for years, which needs a new home.

The bike is currently set up on a tacx satori turbo trainer, where I use it for use Zwift.

I think the frame is a 2016 model (might be the 2017). It’s in good knick and has not been outside in years. It looks sad in my house and I would love to see someone enjoy it as much as I have.

I have the original paperwork and various parts for it (stems, peddles etc). It’s been loving looked after and is not sporting any damage.

Brand new the bike alone is well over a grand. Happy to part with the bike and Turbo set up for £500 (or a good offer).

Photos can be sent, or come round for a go on the turbo (it’s got a turbo tire on currently so no outdoor riding).

    • The Lordship Lane branch didn't have any decent stationery even when it opened, if memory serves. Once upon a time, you used to be able to get pretty good  notebooks in pound shops, and cheap drawing pads for kids. I imagine they are laid out like that to make the best use of space - more shelving for products and fewer aisles?
    • I was joking, sorry, that probably wasn't obvious. I'm not sure I agree with culling aka killing loads of  anything (except things carrying diseases like malaria etc), but I don't know enough about it to be able to say.
    • So ... this begs the question, is it OK to cull those who are neither intelligent or pretty?
    • I've only been in the store once as I found the layout of the shelving units that go from side to side rather than front to back unfriendly and off-putting and does not draw the customer in.
