Embracing Second Spring: A Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra for Menopause Mini-Retreat

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the menopausal years are known as ‘Second Spring’ – a renewal of energy and opportunities.

In this special 2-hour session especially for anyone in a stage of menopause you will be guided through a nourishing and gently rejuvenating yin yoga practice to support you in embracing your own ‘Second Spring’ and thriving through menopause and beyond. In this slow, floor-based practice (with the optional use of props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks), each pose typically lasts for three to five minutes. Our yin yoga practice will prepare us for part two of our session – a restful yoga nidra (‘yogic sleep’) practice. Think of this as a mini-retreat for yourself.

(You are very welcome to attend if you are craving some rejuvenation and are not in a stage of menopause but the practices will be tailored with perimenopause and menopause in mind and is not suitable for pregnant students.)

    • Please let me know if you have any pallets that you would like to be taken away.  Thank you.
    • Luckily that is an old closed telephone exchange building,  rather than someone's house.
    • Seriously though, I hope nobody was harmed in the making of that, because they must have veered right across the road before crashing, and only just avoided the tree. They must have been going pretty fast. Asleep at the wheel? Medical issue? Drunk? Young or stupid people messing about with a stolen car? (Apologies to young people, I know most of you aren't reckless). It was lucky they didn't hit something going in the opposite direction ( at least, I assume/hope they didn't) before they went over the wall. But I'm confused, because the broken part of the wall is in front of the car. Did they reverse in an attempt to get the car off the wall, and then made things worse? 😮
    • Oh, so that's what 'off street parking' means.
