My name is Graham and I opened KIRKDALE FABRICS in 2019. My family have been in the fabric business for 115 years this summer and as I live locally i thought that the area needed a shop like mine. I concentrate on natural fibres and vintage fabrics and haberdashery. I only open from Thursday to Saturday from 10.30 to 4pm. My telephone number is 07368 119515. -
I was wondering what the oldest business is on Lordship Lane that is still operating under the same ownership. My guess is AJ Farmer, established in 1964. Anything older ? I'm excluding the pubs which will have been around a lot longer but no doubt gone through several different owners. -

Sometimes thieves just take the cash and ditch the rest nearby. Might be worth checking around local parks, alleyways, or even posting in community Facebook groups in case someone spots them.
