Saw to borrow please!

Hi everyone, I have a small metal pole that needs trimming. I bought this curtain rail (link below), not realising it wasn't wood, and just need to borrow a tool to trim it down please. Apparently I need a hacksaw? If anyone has any advice on what I can use to do this/better yet the tool to do it with I would be forever grateful. Won't need to borrow it for more than 5 minutes!

Am based near Tessa Jowell.

    • Their website says: “This store is temporarily closing for refurbishment on the 24th December after closing time. We expect to reopen, bigger and better, in the middle of February 2025.”
    • My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀
    • Thanks, I'll call them.  I don't think the letters would be sent out from the shop, so it's more likely that the info line would know.
    • Main info number is 0208 768 4500 you could try that
