wheelchair

Hi, I am looking for a comfortable wheelchair for my mum who has a muscle wasting disease. She would not be able to push herself around so does not need the bigger wheels.

She is currently borrowing one but it is a real bone rattler and she is frightened to go in it, as the slightest bump in the path causes her a lot of pain.

if anyone is selling one or can recommend a make that would make her trips out comfortable I would be very pleased to hear from you, please DM me.

Thank you

    • Their website says: “This store is temporarily closing for refurbishment on the 24th December after closing time. We expect to reopen, bigger and better, in the middle of February 2025.”
    • My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀
    • Thanks, I'll call them.  I don't think the letters would be sent out from the shop, so it's more likely that the info line would know.
    • Main info number is 0208 768 4500 you could try that
