Nero
Mr Ben's mentioning of burgers in NYC on the thread about Gourmet Burger Kitchen got me thinking about how useful a thread on our favourite bars and restaurants abroad would be. So...In Sydney, my fave place is Awaba at Balmoral BeachIn Manchester, it's Greens in Didsbury (no website I can find, though I have done in the past) In Brussels, it's Le Belgica Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3123-forumites-fave-places-to-eat-drink-abroad/ Share on other sites

annaj
Da Nino, Letojanni, Sicily. Two doors down from the apartment where we spent our honeymoon. We watched the fishing boat come in while we had breakfast on our balcony and ate whatever they'd caught that evening. Also, a lovely sommelier, who was really a budding actor between jobs, who guided us through Sicilian wine (dangerous territory for an amateur) and entertained us. Happy, happy memories... :))http://www.danino.it/contents/aboutus.php?lg=en&PHPSESSID=d9cc4da1cdaa8e171822961b5ec97118 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3123-forumites-fave-places-to-eat-drink-abroad/#findComment-97134 Share on other sites

They had a balcony on the cliffs which over looked a beach (Tonel?) and it was on the southern side of the forte. Will try to find out for you.
