I am looking for a mother’s help/nanny/home support for around 6-8 weeks from September (although there may be the potential of extending/adapting the role longer term.

We are expecting our third baby at the end of August, and could do with an extra pair of loving hands in the early weeks/months as my partner travels for work.

Ideally we’d be looking for someone Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, around 20 hours a week (Tue 2–6pm, Wed & Thur 8.30am–4.30pm). Role would include taking/picking up 3.5yo at Kindergarten – he finishes at 2pm so playing/cooking with him after this. Then on Wed/Thur whilst toddler is out, some help with baby and light household jobs (cooking, tidying, washing, walking the dog).

Must be able to drive and have clean licence (own car not necessary as we can add you to ours), happy around pets (we have a dog and cat), first aid and DBS.

Please DM me if you can recommend someone or are interested in the role and can provide great recent references.

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
