Devon Glampsite Holiday - Weekday Discounted rates (5m from Lyme Regis)

Recommended Posts

MAJU is a family and dog friendly scenic glamping set upon a farm in Axminster in Devon, opposite the famous River Cottage featuring rolling hills and sea views, surrounded by 300-acres of Trinity Hill Woodland. Only 9 minutes? drive away from the unapologetically quirky town of Lyme Regis, offering a vast choice of restaurants to eccentric pubs. There are plenty of beaches to go fossil hunting on and the site is surrounded by so much nature to explore! The local donkey sanctuary is a local family favourite, along side Axe Valley Wildlife Park and the award winning Tree Tops adventure park. The perfect place for a family holiday wanting to escape London...

The flagship MAJU glampsite will be welcoming glampers for the second time, after a successful first summer season in 2021, where the site gained 5* google review rating.

This year, MAJU will be offering an on-site weekend cafe using an open-fire method and an array of fantastic local produce. Offerings will consist of weekly Friday night take-out, Saturday night 3-course feasts and weekend brunch.

You can choose an unfurnished bell tent or a luxury one with beds, bedding and furnishings. Either way you?ll notice that these bell tents offer a different feel to many; patterned fabrics, scalloped edges and increased headroom are part of their custom-made appeal. There are a couple of flushing loos, hot water showers, and an outdoor washing-up sink.

MAJU is currently offering discounted mid-week family rates on Pitchup and Cool Camping. Or feel free to get in contact direct at [email protected].

We look forward to hosting you!

    • My mum lost her cerise pink longline purse around 4pm today. Last had it in the Organic Shop on Lordship Lane.  Called them but they haven’t had anything handed in.  If anyone has found it please let me know. Thank you.
    • Ofcom does charge Royal Mail for not delivering First and Second class mail on time, but it's done by metrics and not individual cases. They fined them £5.6m last year. Saying that, it's probably cheaper for Royal Mail to take the fine than to hire more carriers. I can see the industry moving towards a gig economy style thing in the future, akin to Amazon Flex
    • I just think some owners are a bit dippy, they aren't aware that dogs cause a lot of issues for wildlife. Ground nest birds will abandon their young, foxes and badgers will abandon their dens, rats and mice will relocate into people's gardens and houses, squirrels and birds typically avoid dog heavy areas too. There are a lot of parks in the area that allow for unleashed dogs, so it really makes no sense to ruin the lives of other animals because the owner simply cannot be arsed.
    • Post that isn't tracked won't be a priority.  There are no fines issued to the postal service for failing to deliver ordinary letters.  So until the policy changes general letters will be late.  Post office staff are not being given great contracts anymore and they often being pushed to the maximum for not a great deal.   But getting letters late does cause issues.
