Advice for garden office

We are thinking of building an office/small studio in our garden - has anyone done this or got any advice? Is it best to use a builder/chip pie or buy a kit?

Any advice would be very welcomed!!!

Hi, we are thinking of doing the same, did you have any luck?

The prices for ready made garden offices (with insulation and electrics) are so high for what seems to be a relatively small space!

Did you get someone in to build one or go for a ready made?

I didn't get very far I'm afraid and are doing research minus recommendations now! Also looking at getting one built by a gardener! Good luck! It certainly looks expensive if you want it properly insulated!

Hi there, we've had two - one from Henley and oe from Garden Lodges, but these were buit and installed for us, and I think you're asking about a DIY approach? You're welcome to pm if you want further info on our experiences.

Run an electrical extension cable to your garden shed. Job done.

We have done it but it was converting a brick building that was already there so not quite the same.
