Availability in nanny-share now / v soon

Recommended Posts

Herne Hill, North Dulwich triangle, Denmark Hill and Dulwich Village areas.

We have an experienced (>20yrs, childcare qualifications, middle sibling of five, raised her nephews), unflappable, fun, and hugely reliable (40-year-old) nanny who we love.

She knows the Herne Hill, North Dulwich triangle, Denmark Hill and Dulwich Village areas well and is familiar with most of the baby/toddler/children groups and venues. She is expert in ages/stages for child development and building littles ones up. She is proactive at getting them out-and-about and being active / doing things.

She has been with us (her main employer) for almost six years and with another family (with two children heading for 11 & 13) in the current nanny-share for 12 years. Has references from previous employers too.

The family with older children no longer need a nanny in the same way and are ending their part in the arrangement from mid-July 2022. There is also some space before then (across the week).

So we are looking to welcome another family to share our nanny's employment. And she is keen for this herself - she does not want to be bored or only partly occupied during school/nursery hours.

We think the natural availability within our current arrangement might best suit a family with one or two pre-schoolers who want most or some weekdays, or even just some hours of a few weekdays (but those hours would need to include some or all of the 9am-3pm hours). That said, the shape of a new, second, employer could take many forms - so it's worth PM-ing me if interested and think your needs could combine with ours.

***You could also get in contact if you are on maternity leave and just need some hours of help with a very little one to allow you some space/time/freedom - I can vouch for nanny being great with even the very tiny ones***

We feel pretty experienced with nanny-share arrangements by now and would happily guide those new to how it can work well.

We would prefer a local second family if possible and we (two working professionals and two daughters) are usually based in Herne Hill but are temporarily displaced to Dulwich Village for a few months - a small thing and we can flex re base location.
