Grey velvet curtains for large bay window

Recommended Posts

Large pair of curtains professionally made for our large Edwardian bay window.

105 inch drop (2670mm) the large bay is 3 meters 20 wide recess so fabric is a lot wider than this. 6 inch pleat / thermally lined and black out.

Heavy excellent quality. We are only changing as we have decided to get Roman blinds now. Very slightly fading in one area due to sun but not really not noticeable when up. Curtains this size are very expensive to have made so we looking for ?275, which is a bargain for curtains this quality & size. Designer Drapes have packaged them up for us, can deliver.

Can?t seem to add more pics here (apart from xmas one!) so text for photos and can be viewed in Sydenham

    • perhaps suggest the council put a fence around the tree then? Its a beautiful tree not a climbing frame I'm sure more people get pleasure just seeing it than the amount of children who climb it. there are great climbing frames outside for children specifically designed for the purpose like the one in the playground by Goose green. I'm not anti kids, I just think trees are living things and should'nt be looked upon as playgrounds.
    • @beansprout I'd be very happy to see the back of 'Megans on the lordship' or whatever its called The food is grim (nice on the menu the reality is awful) dreadful muzak and all round pretty dreadful. I'd much rather see punters spending their money in places like Love Dulwich,Kanella,Johnnies and so on.
    • We just had Matt over to replace a fence at the front of the house and very quick, clean and professional. Highly recommended
    • Passed it earlier and looked through the window. Horrified to see that they have removed the beautiful tiled floor. I suppose it's too much to hope for that they will replace it unharmed, or indeed at all 😭 When I moved here around 1991, it was one of the few decent pubs, if memory serves.  Unless you wanted a fight 😂 And it had some great music and comedy upstairs. I saw Eddie (sic) Izzard there.  They also used to have live music downstairs, separating off that room at the side with a makeshift velvet curtain. I wonder if they intend to combine the downstairs space with the presently unused space next door, and have an inside entrance to the upstairs space, instead of a separate entrance on the street? The pub is certainly in a prime position!
