Found a budgie 9/5/22

We found a budgie today in Brockley.

We have had to bring it inside as a cat was interested.

If you know anyone who has a spare cage to lend us until we can reunite this bird with its owner, I would be very grateful.

My first reaction was that this was the fattest budgie I had ever seen! But it seems that English budgies are monsters compared to their Australian cousins, despite being descended from Australians imported in the late 1800s
