Len - lollipop man Goodrich/Barry Road

Just wondering if anyone knows if Len, the lollipop man at the Goodrich Road/Barry Road junction, is ok? He hasn't been there for a while and we miss seeing his cheery face on the school run.

Hi all - we?ve just found out that sadly Len died. What a great man and a great service he provided. He?s really missed.

Oh no! We've also been wondering. I said to my daughter just this morning that I hoped he was OK. That's so sad, he was really lovely and always brightened up our morning.

It's really sad how his employers couldn't reach out to the local schools and pass on the news

Perpahs they were concerned about falling foul of the newish laws on personal information being passed on? Perhaps the schools' local transport coordinators (or am I being naive?) could make contact with the family to find out more and offer to put out the news. I have no contact with the schools or the lollipop man, so if anyone here has, over to you.
