Hello,

70 Sqm two bedroom flat in an immaculate condition is available for rent from 10th May. The flat is on a 1st floor of a beautiful Victorian property. The house is managed well, it is quiet and all neighbours are professionals.

Tree lined road, house itself is on a no through road. Please view it on zoopla, link below.

Ah, you are a lifesaver!!

Yes please! Any time from 10 May would be perfect, and we should find out next week exactly how long we need it for.

We're a family of four, but my understanding is that the limit on persons in a rental is only for co-tenants / adults, and doesn't apply for families. The kids are 7 and 10 years old, very quiet and not usually at home anyway.

I can send you a full credit reference we've just done for renting a longterm place in Brighton and any other details you need.

Would love to rent this from you and happy to send over the deposit via Openrent right away, if it suits you?

Thanks

RAchel

    • And so an update, a message saying I had a telephone appt which they then changed to a double to deal with two issues at once. From originally booking to the appt has been four weeks, so disappointed, but appt booked in.
    • Yes, it wasn't exactly Lewes, he lived in a tiny place near Ditchling Beacon (unless he moved to Lewes after Hoopers closed)! Near enough Lewes, though! I can't remember what the place was called, or even if it had a name, there were only a few houses. Which was very weird, because I lived in Ditchling for a time many many moons ago, and I drove up that tiny road every day on my way to work in  Stanmer Park (at that time the local college horticulture department was based there)! There was a locked gate halfway down the road, which I had a key to. No idea if things have changed now, it was a long time ago. Very small world indeed. We only found out because  at Jamie's request we put on music in Hoopers for a time (including Wizz Jones). ETA: Very sorry Lulark (and Admin), this has no relevance at all to your post.
    • Still remember the time shortly after I moved to Lewes and bumped into Jamie Hooper - turns out he had been living in Lewes the whole time he ran the pub in London
    • Found the thread:  Since that time The Gowlett closed and then reopened with a refurbishment and I believe under new owners.
