Wanted :Car to hire/rent for 3 to 4 months

Somewhat unusual request. Ordered car for September delivery, so looking to source at saloon car for 3/4 months whilst without.. Any suggestions or ideas?

Don't know what amount of usage you have in mind but I would buy an old car for under ?800 and afterwards sell it on for a similar amount. Cars are reliable these days and they don't rust.

I run a 20 year old Astra and it's never let me down. It depreciated down to to virtually zero about 15 years ago but it's worth every penny because, if it ever needs fixed ( which it doesn't ever) the parts are cheap. No fancy electronic chips go wrong. Simple reliable and worth every penny.
