Experienced training teacher available for summer nannying

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I'd like to offer my summer nannying services. A bit about me - I'm a 24 year-old student, undertaking a BA in Primary Education with qualified teacher status, so in a year I'll be a teacher! I'm very passionate about children and child development, especially in the early years (aged 0-5).

I?m looking for a job over my summer break, which begins w/c 9th May. I?m looking specifically for 2 full days a week, specifically Tuesday and Wednesday if possible, although I am flexible on the days. I?ve got 10 years of experience in all types of childcare - I've worked in nurseries, schools and nannied children aged 9 months up to 12 y/o. I have newborn experience through nursery (baby room experience). I also have 2 years of studying and working as a training teacher in local Early Years? settings.

I grew up in Honor Oak Park, so although I don't drive, I am very proficient at getting around the area. I am now based in Brockley. I've used the ED forum to get multiple amazing nanny jobs that I've absolutely loved, so I know this community is a great place to start.

I have plenty of excellent references, available on request. I am DBS checked and have a paediatric first aid qualification.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Nina

    • well yep - all of that is true and Labour boxing themselves in on Brexit red lines is counter to their growth narrative as well  (albeit semi-understandable given what would happened to the media and likes of Jazzer if they are even perceived to soften them) choppy waters ahead - but that would be true of any govt picking up the pieces and in no way validated the petition hysteria
    • Clearly there is going to be no election but it was interesting listening to the Rest Is Politics this week where they discuss this and they did a really good breakdown on the risk to Rachel Reeves and this budget and that is a lack of growth and no clear plan on where growth is going to come from. Rory Stewart breaks down, very coherently, why Labour have a huge battle ahead and how their policies and budget could become a problem and echos much of which has been said on here (but without the raw emotion!!! ;-)) They also said, and this is a big issue for Labour, that Keir's approval ratings are now at -38 (and those are Liz Truss levels) and, at the same point in his tenure Tony Blair was at +68. Well worth a listen, especially if people want to hear balanced discussion around a variety of subjects.
    • Leon recently fitted spotlights in our living room and bedroom, both rooms look great. So happy with them! He worked super quickly, and neatly - and he was great with his recommendations and answering our questions. Would definitely recommend!!
    • Have used Tony a couple of times in the last month since finding him on EDF. Reliable, no-nonsense guy. Have been very happy with his work and will be using him again. Slightly reluctant to promote him on here though as I don’t want him getting booked up! Thanks Tony.
