Egyptian goose attacked by dog off lead in Peckham park

Going off thread a little here but pet dogs are mostly grown up puppies who are generally play hunting, apart from the few more closely related to their ancient ancestors.

Interesting to see urban foxes seem to rarely chase and kill anything. Well on their way to domestication.

It would appear that the mother and all three goslings / ducklings are no longer resident at the lake. Does anyone know what's happened to them?

Tell that to the chickens at my kid's school... :(

If we hadn't domesticated chickens they wouldn't be stuck in a cage easy target for a fox that would naturally only chase one at a time out in the open.

The mother and 2 young are still there but I hadn't seen them for a few days either. Took this photo at 8 this morning.

has anyone got a big cage?? Would be so nice if the family were reunited. Would the sanctuary not accept the mother and youngsters?
