Telegraph Hill Playclub Saturday playworker - open position

Recommended Posts

Telegraph Hill Playclub is a free, fun & inclusive playclub for under fives and their carers. It is run by the community and receives no council funding. The club aims to provide a safe and welcoming space for the whole community to enjoy. Our daily (excluding Sunday) stay & play sessions include a range of activities for children & carers to take part in. Children thrive in the fun & engaging indoor & outdoor play areas, and carers can meet and socialise over a coffee. We aim to bring in enough income from donations & venue hire to keep running our free sessions and constantly improve the facilities at the club. We are looking for a Saturday morning play worker to join our team. Please see the job description attached for details of how to apply.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
