Hi,

I am asking for witnesses to an altercation between two men outside the herne tavern between 8.10 and 8.15pm this evening to come forward please. For legal reasons I don't want to say any more at this stage but I will separately be asking for CCTV footage from the Tavern and nearby businesses.

An update: A complaint to the police has been issued.

I'd appreciate anyone else coming forward as witnesses to an incident between a man with a small black dog and a man wearing a black jacket standing near the doorway of the Herne Tavern.
