I drove to see Glee (don't judge me) and it was fine - we parked in the station carpark rather than O2 carpark itself, much cheaper. was fine getting out but we left as the last song played - habit of mine as i hate having to hang around fighting through crowds to get out.
We've driven a couple of times and stayed in the official car park - getting out was easy and we didn't leave early. Its not the cheapest but its cheaper to book in advance. We may have been lucky but my advice is to park the car right near the car park exit - you have a slighlty longer walk but it means you don't have to queue getting out the car park. We've done this both times and couldn't believe how easy it was.

Ha !!

I ain't leaving early but I DO need water without paying stupid money for it, if I'm allowed to bring food in then yes I'll pack a snack. After all, 5 hrs in the mosh does work up a hunger ;)

I appreciate those of you on amphetamines don't require food..

    • I think one of the organiser's marketing lines for the event describes the festival as 'nestled' in the park- clearly having the trees and park as a backdrop is viewed as a major selling point.
    • It may be good to check the meter is not malfunctioning; this can happen. Equally there may be a slow leak. If TW were sure metering would reduce your bills- I think there is some kind of comparison transition period, where they get a sense of how much water you actually use- then I'd think it is worth checking.
