Huggers
Today wasnt the first time that the Coop computer system hasn't actually computed some of it's offered savings and deals. But just now, having added the total of my shopping in my head I challenged the amount rung up on the till. I bought so few things that the total was blindingly obvious to add up, but the person at the till just kept saying the till said otherwise. A manager finally arrived, the queue building up irrevocably behind me, two manned tills - I showed him the items and added them up, then they went through the till, same error which he stands by. I add it all up again, we go through it, they see the light and the correct amount goes through. But what a waste of time! why can't someone use a calculator or paper and pen to work out whether a challenge is correct instead of making the same faulty programmed till go through it five times. Sue
Sadly, because I like the Co-Op, from bitter experience I have learned to check that the prices shown on my till receipt are the same as the prices shown on the shelf - because often they aren't.And I have never yet been undercharged - always overcharged :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30599-the-coop-annoying-overcharging-tills/#findComment-629276 Share on other sites
