Need house sitting over Easter?

Recommended Posts

We moved from ED to Devon a few years ago and would like to spend 3 nights in the area around Easter. If you need anyone to feed your pets or water your plants, please bear us in mind. It would be myself and my two kids (boy 13 and girl 10). We are tidy, house trained, respectful and would be out most of the day. I am a psychotherapist and a Yoga teacher, we are home owners and let a property on Airbnb. Thank you. I can offer references too.

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
