Its a shame they dont develop it into a hotel with bar/restaurant below. Its really hard finding somewhere decent for family to stay when they come to visit close and the size of the place would be perfect for that.

The Grove may not be suitable for conversion to a Hotel.

It would require a considerable amount of money to do so and could take years of planning and consent

from the Local Authorities.

The fact that no Hotel exists in the area suggests there has never been a real demand for one.

Dulwich is not a Tourist / Holiday destination and business facilities exist closer to the City.

How many guests would be expected to stay there. ?

There does not seem to be any urgency to get the place re-opened.

Haven't been there for over 17 years, when I lived nearer. Was not busy then..
