#UkraineSupportPledge - Paintings and prints by local artists

Recommended Posts

I?m a local artist and am starting this thread to encourage any artists, illustrators or photographers to take part in this 'Gallery for Charity'

I and am offering 3 30cm x 30cm mixed media paintings for a suggested donation of ?150 each (or whatever you?d like to offer)as part of the #UkraineSupportPledge. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Global Giving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

The paintings are made of hand painted collaged fragments of paper in watercolour, ink acrylic and gesso and are part of a series of 30cm x 30cm paintings that I am offering in support of this charity. I can send better images if you'd like to see more detail.

Please send a PM if you?d like to see higher resolution photos or to purchase any of these and to find out how to make your donation to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund in order to receive the painting.

I?m also offering 21 x 21cm / or 21cm x 29cm prints of ANY of the paintings on my Instagram feed to the first 5 people to send a PM - the donation amount is up to you for these prints. Here?s the link :- https://www.instagram.com/studio.se22/ and there are more on my website:

That's a good idea to also invite other local artists to offer their work for the above charity, Studio-S.E.2.2.

I'd also like to offer prints of 2 of my Lido collages (measuring 21 x 30 cm ) in return for any donation you can offer to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. The attached photo is a very low res one - prints will be much sharper, of course! The first collage is of Brockwell Lido

Please email me for details of how to donate if you'd like a print.

I'd like to add 'Digital Dulwich Picture House' to the gallery for Ukraine relief fund Charity - I can print at A4 size on watercolour paper - any donations over ?10 per print (hopefully a bit more) would be fab!! All proceeds will go to the charity - you can either pay direct to it via the gofundme site (DM for details) or pay me and I'll provide you with proof of payment to the charity. Other variations of the design to follow!

    • There has already been pages of discussion about this. Please read the whole thread if you haven't already. These are community notice boards and not for the use of  local commercial businesses. I need this to be quite clear before I spend  time on it, because if they are to be used for commercial purposes then I am not willing to be involved at all, and shan't be speaking to Monica
    • It is worth trying even if you fail. If you appeal they normally stop the clock on the increased fine (check that’s this case with this one). Sounds like you had acted reasonably and in good faith. Unfortunately that doesn’t always cut it. There is advice online about appealing them.
    • A few weeks ago I parked in the parking space at the lordship lane end of Matham Grove.  It is free to park there for 30 mins but you have to register on the pay by phone app.  For which you pay a 20p admin fee - which is outrageous in itself. Anyway I put it on the app and was gone no longer than 10 minutes. When I came back I found a warden issuing a ticket.  I said that I had registered but when I opened the app there was just a wheel going round so there was a glitch with the app. The warden said that he had seen me leave my car so agreed I had not been longer than the allocated free time and did not warrant a ticket, but said he could not take the ticket back once issued but that our conversation was on record and I should appeal. so I did. I provided a photo of the app with the screen going around and which had timings on it.  My appeal has been rejected. Because I had not paid for parking which is free!!! to add to the confusion the 30 mins free parking sign had fallen off - see attached photo of the sign on both sides of Matham grove.    What I would like to know is do you think I should appeal the fine or pay the £55 fine now before it doubles??
    • Nadia has helped us evolve our garden from a fairly unloved space to a stunning oasis the last few years. She’s brilliant at giving great advice on how to keep up her good work, advising on planting and doing some kind of witchcraft to make all the flowers bloom and the fruit grow on the trees. Lovely, hardworking and respectful team. Would recommend 100%
