Just wanted to shout about the FANTASTIC training sessions I do on Monday evening and Saturday mornings on Peckham Rye with Tim from One Element. I started last summer after my second baby and managed to get fit quick - so I am now training for the London Marathon in April this year. Tim recently posted on here which I've copied below for more info. BUT I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE who wants to get their exercise fix outside without having to stay in a boring gym all summer. It's fun, there's a great gang of people doing it and we have a laugh. You can do a free trial session too....

Hello there!

Now that spring is on its way wouldn't you like to start getting fit outdoors?

At our One Element sessions on Peckham Rye, we believe that the best fitness results are achieved together outdoors, not on your own stuck in a gym.

We are a group of mostly Peckham and ED-based mums, looking for new men and women to join our ranks at the fun and rewarding circuit-training sessions.

The sessions change every week to make sure that you get are always challenged, get a 360 degree work-out and that you never get bored!

First session is free so why not join us on Peckham Rye Mondays at 7.30pm or Saturdays at 9.00am. You can find us by the tree-stump on the North-West side where Tim the trainer will be standing with his flag.

Any more questions, don't hesitate to reply.

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
