Hello!

If you have any old mobile phones, broken fine but must have batteries, please pm me and I can pick them up or if you're on Facebook join the group and the address is on there!

I'm collecting to help a girl who I used to go to school with- she has two young sons, both with special needs- one severely Autistic who is non verbal. They are collecting phones to exchange for an iPad to hopefully help his communication skills. She is a fantastic mum and deserves all the help she can get. If you're on Facebook the group can be found here- http://www.facebook.com/sarah.gaskell.7/posts/237563423053742

If you can ask colleagues/family/friends too, please do! Her address is on the Facebook group if you want to post to her directly!

Thanks,

Sarah

    • Sorry this just didn’t seem to belong to request a tradesperson. any good experiences? Not a chiropodist!
    • Crofton Park (borough of Lewisham) has a community notice board which as well as listing councillors is full of notices about local community activities of all sorts and for all ages. It is clean and tidy and only has one small fly poster (attached with one very small piece of tape, and easily removed - I didn't though). Crofton Park also has a lovely little community garden alongside the station, full of flowers, with lots of things of interest to kids,  and also obviously lovingly maintained. I don't know who the land belongs to - possibly the station, though access is via the adjoining road. If Lewisham council/Crofton Park residents can maintain a community notice board, why can't Southwark Council/East Dulwich residents?
